SPIRITUAL SURVIVAL

HOW TO FLY WITH GOD AS YOUR

CO-PILOT

Alaskan bush pilots often get lost while flying over the Alaskan territories.  When this happens they have a set of rules called the 4 C's to depend on to bring them out of the lost condition.

These rules can be applied to both the challenges a transsexual faces in their choice to live as the opposite sex, and their families and friends as they cope with their transsexual's decision and lifestyle.

1. CONFESS - they are lost.  As long as they refuse to confess that they are lost they continue to fly around in circles. This happens to us in our spiritual life, often we feel we are lost and out of touch, we react by attempting to read and study, then through mind and thought control to work our way out of the lost condition.  We never really seem to get going in a working direction.  The first step that must be taken is to confess to being lost, directly to God.  Until this confession takes place there is no opening for possibility and subsequently no new information or direction available.

2. CLIMB - The pilot needs to get higher in the sky.  Spiritually you can reach a high through gratitude.  "An attitude of gratitude creates altitude."  Express gratitude for where you are right now, loving your life conditions as they are.

3. COMMUNICATE - Lost pilots line up on radio frequencies that guide them out of their lost condition and communicate with traffic control.  Spiritually - Stay in constant communication with God. Acknowledging God as your source of all life, abundance, love, and good.  Use prayer, meditation, and visualization, to keep your thoughts constantly tuned to God as the source of all life and all substance.

4. COMPLY- Pilots receive navigation instruction from nearby air fields.  If they follow instructions they arrive home safely.  The air traffic controller is there to serve.  Moment by moment you receive instruction from your Christ self, the God within, and you most likely choose to ignore it in order to analyze or understand through ego just what to do.  Following this course insures a continued lost condition and only when you surrender to following the guidance of the Christ self will you find your way out of the lost condition and into the fullness of life.

5. A fifth C can be classified as:  DO IT OR CRASH
